    In Burkina Faso, poultry farming is common practice (by over 86% of the population), especially in rural areas. It contributes to the reinforcement of local economies, increased food security (production of meat and eggs, a revenue generating activity) and social cohesion, allowing for a reduction in poverty.

    Cette saison, la Dubaï Charity Association (DCA) a financé la construction de 50 maisons VN de 26m2 dans le village de N’Golobougou au Mali.
    L’ensemble de ces chantiers a permis la formation et l’emploi de nombreux maçons locaux. Les 50 familles bénéficiaires profitent aujourd’hui du confort des maisons en Voûte Nubienne : confort thermique (températures intérieures modérées), acoustique (bruits extérieurs atténués) et d’usage (maison solide face aux intempéries, toit-terrasse).   • Project focus - 50 NV houses in N’Golobougou (Mali)

    This season the Dubaï Charity Association (DCA) financed the construction of 50 NV houses, each of 26m2, in the village of N’Golobougou, Mali.
    These building sites together involved the training and employability of many local masons. The 50 beneficiary families are now enjoying the comfort of Nubian Vault houses: thermal (cool interiors), acoustic (attenuation of outside noise), and daily use (solid weatherproof houses with roof terraces).   • Ghana : AVN et l’École Polytechnique de Bolgatanga collaborent pour l’habitat adapté

    Le 16 octobre dernier, le département de Technique de construction et d’Ingénierie civile de l’École polytechnique de Bolgatanga et AVN-Ghana ont signé un accord cadre de partenariat (MoU) ayant pour objectif de définir et de mettre en œuvre un cursus pédagogique dual (technique et académique) pilote pour la formation de techniciens bâtiment et une dynamique de mobilisation élargie de l’ensemble de la filière habitat adapté.
