    Ouvert depuis 2014, le déploiement du programme au Bénin est aujourd’hui caractérisé par un parc bâti de 309 chantiers VN réalisés au bénéfice de plus de 1850 personnes, une main d’œuvre active de 119 apprentis, maçons, artisans et entrepreneurs VN et l’implication de 7 salariés locaux.

  • The experiences of NV trainees in Benin using the intensified training modules

    In January, Samuel Rodrigues, international coordinator of technical training at AVN, came to Djougou to run a training module for nine trainees from Benin and Burkina Faso. This module forms part of the intensified training actions being implemented by AVN to accelerate and improve training of NV masons.     As part of the deployment of AVN-Benin’s actions in the Department of Atacora, Francis Tiene, responsible for AVN’s promotions and expert in the opening of new regions, accompanied the new Benin team based in Tanguiéta over a two week period..

  • Benin: the first construction site of the season kicks off

    On November 3rd last, NV masons from Benin started the first construction site of the season in Vanhoui, in the Djougou region.
    As part of a Cement Mason Promotion [1], the construction of this vault of 8 linear metres involved the training of two apprentice masons, as well as the initiation of two new artisans as potential Trainer Masons.   • Benin: AVN’s national office inaugurated

    AVN-Benin’s national office was inaugurated on March 30th at Djougou in the presence of institutional guests (local mayors, and representatives of the Ministère du cadre de vie et Développement Durable, and the Ministère de la Formation Professionnelle), technical actors (professional training centres, artisans’ collectives), NGO’s, and those involved in AVN’s programme.

    The deployment of the programme in Benin started in 2014. To date, 309 NV projects have been carried out for the benefit of more than 1,850 people, 119 NV apprentices, masons and artisans are active on the market and 7 local employees are involved in the dissemination of the programme with the help of local partners.

    Dans le cadre du déploiement des activités d’AVN-Bénin dans le Département de l’Atacora, Francis Tiene, responsable des promotions chez AVN et expert en « ouverture de nouvelles régions » a accompagné pendant deux semaines sur le terrain la nouvelle équipe béninoise affectée à Tanguiéta.

  • Bénin : le bureau de l’antenne nationale d’AVN inauguré

    Le 30 mars, le bureau national AVN-Bénin a été inauguré à Djougou en présence d’invités institutionnels (Mairies, Ministère du cadre de vie et Développement Durable, et Ministère de la Formation Professionnelle), d’acteurs techniques (Centres de Formation Professionnelle, Collectif d’artisans locaux), d’ONG et d’acteurs du programme d’AVN.
